i was drinking tonic water, the yellow canned thing, and i was examining the can.
it read 'contains quinine'.
curious me wanted to know what quinine is because i drink tonic water whenever it's available.
and i checked the dictionary.
this is what i got:
a white, bitter, slightly water-soluble alkaloid, C20H24N2O2, having needlelike crystals, obtained from cinchona bark: used in medicine chiefly in the treatment of resistant forms of malaria.
seriously.
malaria.
but i will never stop drinking it.
i love tonic water.
